Who we are
Hana by the Sea is operated by Kas Creatives & Solutions, registered in the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 99904691, at Terralaan 44, 6515 DS Nijmegen, the Netherlands. You can reach us at support@hanabythesea.com.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and payment confirmation. When you browse our store we collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
Why we collect it
To process and deliver your order, to send order and delivery updates, to answer your questions, to prevent fraud, and to improve our store. If you have given us permission, we also use your email address to send you occasional updates. You can unsubscribe from those at any time using the link in every email.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with:
- our payment providers (Shopify Payments and PayPal), to take payment
- our shipping partners, to deliver your order
- our email and analytics providers, to run the store
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we are legally required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, to remember your preferences and to understand how the store is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the store may stop working correctly.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@hanabythesea.com and we will respond within 30 days. We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
